Heavenly Sunset Farm moved from dream to reality in September of 2005. Located in Upstate New York within five miles of the north-central Pennsylvania border, the 40-acre farm is family-owned and operated. Our herd consists of 43 Huacaya alpacas.

When naming the farm we looked to our surroundings. “Heavenly Sunset” is no accident. With a 20-mile view of the western sky, a breathtaking display of nature’s beauty takes place nearly every day at sunset.

With this elegance in the sky, we felt it fitting to match it with elegance in the pasture. While studying and planning for the business we were fortunate to meet breeders who focused on the importance of genetics. We followed the advice of these successful breeders by devoting our time and resources to build a herd with phenomenal bloodlines. The crias born on our farm are from Dom Lucilio, Snowmass Invincible, Snowmass Nova, Shaquille, ELK Hercules, Brookhollow's El Nino Royale, Brookhollow's Alonzo, Sterling Apocalypse, Shepherd's Creek El Zorro and Magical's Cessna. Each alpaca residing here (male and female) has these bloodlines or comparable genetics. Our herd management practices focus on the health and comfort of each alpaca, as well as ensuring personal interaction with them daily.

We welcome any opportunity to share our experience. The fiber industry is coming alive and our animals have the fleece characteristics required for that market. Financing is available with negotiable terms. Contact us to make an offer on your favorite/s.

Free delivery will be provided within 300 miles of Heavenly Sunset Farm with the purchase of two or more alpacas.

Farm visits are encouraged. Our farm store, Heavenly Soft Fibers, offers a wide selection of products made from alpaca fiber as well as raw fleece, rovings and yarn.
