Welcome to Double “O” Good Alpacas. We are Ernie and Barbara Kellogg, owners of historic Falkland Farm in the beautiful Northern Virginia countryside. The farm is situated just 45 minutes from downtown Washington, D.C. or 25 minutes from Dulles International Airport.

Visit Double "O" Good Alpaca farm and let us show you how we have built a new lifestyle based on top quality alpacas, fair prices, and superior support that makes customers comfortable with their purchase. From colorful crias to grand champion herdsires, Double "O" Good has alpacas for everyone.

We personally care for our herd daily and manage our breeding program. Our goal is to breed alpacas with excellent conformation and dense, full fiber coverage and to improve upon that excellence with each new generation of our alpacas. The care that we provide our alpacas and the commitment that we have made in our breeding program are what set us apart from most breeders.

We offer for sale fully guaranteed, registered alpacas - all born and raised on our farm. We are also home to the "Herdsire Hall of Fame" and the "Breeder's Edge Auction" held annually in September.

When you visit Double "O" Good Alpacas you will find alpacas you can treasure, breeders you can trust, and change you can keep.

Let our breeding program give you the "Breeder's Edge"!

Barbara was one of the first alpaca breeders on the East Coast. She and Earlah Swift were the original founders of Mariah Alpacas in Vermont. After many years Barbara grew tired of the commute to Vermont and decided to open her own Virginia based business as Act II Alpacas. Barbara and Ernie merged their interests when Ernie started Double "O" Good Alpacas with a foundation herd of 12 carefully selected Peruvian alpacas from the 1995 Peruvian importation. Our experience has taught us that the quality of our initial breeding stock, particularly our male herdsires, would forever determine the quality of any resulting herd. Barbara's trained eye and years of internationally respected dog show judging experience has paid off in spades. Today, our herd numbers more than 184 gorgeous, mostly Peruvian Huacayas, and we are expecting many more babies before the year's end.
