Guidelines for 2008 MAPACA Jubilee Halter & Fleece Show

Projected Level V Halter Show - AOBA certified

Show Judging

  1. The Jubilee Halter Show will be judged using the 60/40 method.
  2. There will be 4 rings running simultaneously (arrange for extra handlers if necessary):
    • Ring 1 – Male & Female Suri + brown Male Huacaya classes
    • Ring 2 – Male Huacaya classes except brown
    • Ring 3 – Female Huacaya classes
    • Ring 4 – Performance classes.

Stall Limits

  1. Alpacas MAY NOT be housed in any trailer or vehicle in the parking lot of the facility.
  2. Stall assignments will be made on a first come first served basis upon completed, paid entry. Please remember that priority stalling is given to sponsors according to level of sponsorship.
  3. There is a limit of FIVE total stall spaces per exhibitor at the 2008 Jubilee. Diamond and Emerald Sponsors will be eligible for additional stalls as outlined in the Sponsor information.
  4. Stall dimensions will be 8’ x 10’w. Note: There is a limit of 3 juveniles or 2 yearling/adult alpacas per stall. This will be checked. If you have too many animals in a stall you will be asked to leave with your extra animal so please pay attention to this rule.
  5. Pen panels, sod and electricity will be provided and are included in your individual stall prices. You must bring your own extension cords.
  6. All alpacas must be in their stalls no later than 7pm Thursday April 24, 2008.
  7. If you would like to have a farm display, remember to request a stall space for that purpose. To comply with the Fire Code, the aisles may not be blocked. Please ensure that your display does not extend beyond the 10’ x 8’ area.
