You do not have to be a MAPACA member to attend any of the seminarsover the course of the Jubilee Weekend.

At this point, you must either log into your account or create one. Once you are on the registration page, scroll down to the “Sponsorship, Stalling, Volunteer and Other Fees” section. Select the number of people who will be attending, click the button to pay and put in your payment information, and you are all set!

Topics covered will include:

• Setting up your facilities at home to support easy handling - barn design - and setting up a Camelidynamics Handling Facility
• No restraint injections
• The midline catch and bracelet
• Revolutionary techniques that will change EVERYTHING about the way you handle your alpacas!
• A special emphasis on showing… Make showing your alpaca more fun for both of you!!

No one, no matter how strong, can hold an alpaca still in the show ring...

• Learn to use balance and re-balancing techniques to encourage your alpaca to stand still.
• Learn the importance of halter fit as it relates to show performance and how your halter may be interfering with your alpaca's ability to concentrate and perform.
• Learn techniques for improving your alpaca’s attitude about being shown and handled.
• Learn new techniques for improving the way your alpaca shows including his gait, carriage and stance.
• Learn techniques for keeping your alpaca as cooperative as possible for fleece checking and bite examination.

This one day introduction is a very special opportunity to work directly with Marty in a hands-on setting.  Attendees can bring their own animals to the seminar and receive one-on-one instruction prior to the show.
