| Welcome to Brass Ring Alpaca Farm! Like the "brass ring" on a carousel, we believe in focusing on our dreams, recognizing them and reaching for them when they present themselves. We first met these noble creatures at Scone Palace in Scotland, UK, in '97 while visiting family. When our dream-opportunity presented itself to raise alpacas, we dreamed about it, convinced ourselves we could do it (especially after owning horses for 12+ years), prepared ourselves and decided to reach for our "brass ring." Our farm is in southern NJ. between Phila. and Atlantic City, and has been in our family for 60 years. We've built every structure, set every fence post, stretched every bit of fence, hung every gate and waited for every blade of orchard grass to grow. We are proud of our set-up, which we feel is very efficient. Along with our son, Trent, we have been enjoying every minute of owning our alpacas--from morning coffee/tea with the herd, the daily routine, the wonderful friends we've made along the way, the tremendous support and encouragement they have given us,the miracle of life when crias are born (and the lessons it's teaching our young son) to the fun (and stress) of the show ring! Our goals are to raise healthy, conformationally correct, well mannered alpacas with excellent fiber, genetics and a variety colors--for the show ring, sales and our breeding program. We strive to provide the exceptional support that we have rec'd to our customers by continually educating ourselves. | |
