KCF Steel Magnolia is a beautiful representation of everything that we are breeding for at Kendall Creek Farms. She has a wonderfully fine fleece that is very dense and uniform. Her phenotype is what we in a word would call, Perfect. She has large bone structure in perfect proportion, and the head of the ideal alpaca.
We sold 1/2 interest in Magnolia to Cinco C's Alpacas early on, and we figure to keep her around for a long time in our breeding programs....

Two banners by the age of 9 months at his first two shows. As a yearling in 2024 he brought home the MAPACA Jubilee Full Fleece Black Male Reserve Champion and the Mid-Atlantic Alpaca Gala Full Fleece Black Male Champion!

He is the offspring of 20 color championships....
Jags is built like a tank!!! Broad chest, solid frame, beautiful head and oooooohhhh the fleece. The fleece exhibits a high amplitude crimp style and long staple length, and he's definitely true black. His genotype is EEa1a2 (non-grey). For those of you who follow color genotype, you know how valuable this genotype is to a color breeder. Both parents are multi-champion greys.

Jags first crias show what he can do: amazing fleeces, beautiful heads, lovely confirmation and laid back dispositions! His son Feliz (True Black) brought home a first and second place in the Walking Fleece classes at the Eastern Alpaca Jamboree. His son, Picante (Light Brown), has a fleece like butter with beautiful definition.
